The Struggle Behind The Success

When I first started, I had a habit of writing diary from childhood. I was thinking of publishing a book of myself and my write-ups when I was in high school but due to economical problems in the family and very less support from parents and everyone else I failed to pursue that dream.

I visited many big producers during my college time but they all turned my story down. College ended, I studied law, but my passion was intact. Family became my everything and my support from 2017 end when I passed the law college.

With just Rs. 55 per day savings from my legal practice, I began my filmmaking journey. My first project “শেষ ট্রেনে ঘরে ফিরবো না” (I Won’t Return Home on the Last Train) faced countless obstacles, including betrayal from close friends, financial instability, and mental health struggles that nearly led me to suicide.

But with the support of my family, Jyotishko (who edited the film), and Samrat (who composed the music), the film released in October 2018 and became an instant blockbuster, winning the BEST DIRECTOR DEBUT award at Howrah International Film Festival in 2019.
